CT Cultural Fund Operating Support Grants assist organizations as they recover from the pandemic and maintain and grow their ability to serve their community and the public. The CT Cultural Grant Fund will be used to support CCP in: Serve our community and the public though free exhibitions, artist talks, and open house demonstrations Provide weekly after-school instruction to talented high schoolers in our area And meet the variety of operational costs associated with maintaining artist studios for our artist community ”This funding provides critical financial support for operations and maintaining the programs and partnerships we have developed within our community over the past 28 years, many of which we offer at low or no cost.” - Kimberly Henrikson, Executive Director CCP was one of 723 organizations in Connecticut receiving a CT Cultural Fund Operating Support Grant. Totaling more than $8.5M, these grants are part of a two-year, $30.7M investment in arts, humanities, and cultural nonprofits by the CT General Assembly and approved by Governor Ned Lamont. This CT Cultural Fund Operating Support Grant is provided to CCP from CT Humanities, with funding from the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development/Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA) from the Connecticut State Legislature. About CCP The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is the only non-profit fine art printmaking facility of its kind with highly-respected museum quality exhibitions and diverse workshop opportunities open to the public between New York and Boston. CCP offers workshops in all aspects of printmaking, hosts exhibitions, and offers state-of-the-art facilities where artists can engage professional printers and to realize editions. It is fully equipped to accommodate all printmaking techniques: intaglio, lithography, monotype, silkscreen, woodblock printing, papermaking, book arts and digital processes.
