Each organization received $5,000, including Person to Person’s Norwalk Food Pantry, directly supporting families in need within the community. By activating all 25 Union Savings Bank branches, the initiative quadrupled last year’s financial support, increasing total donations from $25,000 to $100,000. In addition to monetary contributions, customers and staff helped bring the program’s six-year food collection total to nearly 5,000 pounds. Through the bank and the USB Foundation, more than $450,000 has now been contributed to local pantries, reinforcing Union Savings Bank’s ongoing commitment to strengthening and supporting the communities it serves. Decades ago, Junior League Members joined local advocates to help save the Mansion when the construction of Interstate 95 put the building at risk. Hosting the event within its walls is a meaningful way to honor the generations of women who came before, and the legacy they helped protect. This special event will feature a reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and dinner bites, a silent auction and raffle, and viewing of the Mansion’s majestic Period Rooms. Union Savings Bank Deepens Commitment to Fighting Hunger
